Granny Quilt Top

Normally I don't do posts just for quilt tops.  Usually I forget to even take pictures before I hustle it off to my LAQ.  But this top required some pictures because it. is. pure. eye. candy.
Love love love.  I was a bit nervous when I put that very dark navy C + S print in the border.  But you all were right - it really makes the blocks pop.  Here she is.  12 grown up grannies made by CMQ bee members in 2014 and 36 baby grannies in the outer border.  Holy cow.  I love it, but remind me never to do that again, ok?
Getting this off to the LAQ, picnic season is coming!

  3. I thought when I saw it, Oh no - all those seams to match!! I love it but don't know that I have the patience to do it. Glad you shared it with us - as well as your comment of never doing it again!

  6. I love the big blocks with the littles in the border. Looking for the perfect pattern for my Denyse Schmidt chicopee fabric. Maybe grannies squares? Pretty quilt!
