WELCOME. Welcome back to Day 5 of the Sister Sampler Quilts Blog Hop. We're wrapping up the first week of the hop today. We're stopping over at two lovely ladies on the west coast today. Check back here each day to see where we're hopping to - there are chances to WIN a copy of the book along the way.
DAY 5. Today's first stop is Christa's Quilts by Christa Watson. Christa has her hands full of quilting goodness - she owns The Precut Store, designs her own patterns, and is the author of 2 books, Machine Quilting With Style and the upcoming The Ultimate Guide to Machine Quilting (available for preorder) where she does all her quilting on her home machine. She started out traditional and turned modern like I did. Go here for Christa's stop on the blog hop. (GiveAway alert!)
The second stop on the blog hop is the super talented Violet Craft. Violet is a fabric designer for Michael Miller, with lines like Madrona Road, Waterfront Park, and Brambleberry Ridge. Not only does she design fabric, she also designs the most stunning and intricate paper piecing patterns I have ever seen. You may recognize Violet's patterns as "the Abstractions", namely Forest Abstractions, The Lion, and Giraffe Abstractions to name a few. Amazing! Go here for Violet's stop on the blog hop. Her GiveAway will be done through Instagram.
We'll break for the weekend and pick back up on Monday. See you next week!
