#17 Cats & Mice
According to the trusty ol' blog here, I haven't worked this Farmer's Wife quilt since June of last year.  My motto for this quilt is "before I die".  So someday...... someday, I will finish this beast.  Today I'm only here to report that I've finished 2 blocks.  Better than nothing, eh?  Considering I'm using the paper piecing templates and #17 surprised me with partial seams, I consider myself done for the year.  :)
#18 Century of Progress
Becca of Sew Me A Song still has this gorgeous blue Yuwa print available here.  I have this print in blue, yellow and orange.  So sweet.

And speaking of Sew Me A Song, are you regularly checking out her shop?  This bundle Texting While Sewing Encouraged VI is currently on my birthday list.  (wink wink Mom!)

Becca is also carrying this new Equations print which appeals to the nerd in all of us.  (Although chem was never my favorite.  Personally, I think we need some texty fabric with differential equations on it.  That was my entire college life as a mechanical eng student.  That was probably TMI for a quilting blog. :))

Anywho, check out all the best texty and quirky prints at Sew Me A Song. Pin It

  1. Ha! Similar reaction to the equation fabric. Chemistry doesn't encompass all of us nerds. I'd like amino acids or signaling pathways.

  2. I keep wanting to start the Farmer's Wife and keep putting it off because I know it will take me forever. I'm also having a REALLY hard time deciding what fabrics to use.
