Bee Blocks of 2014

Feb 9, 2015
Pin It Ok, yes I know it's February.  I'm running slightly behind in just about everything lately.  I'm hoping that late is better than never?  This post is for me to remember all those fabulous bee blocks I made for members of CMQG (now called Columbus Modern Quilters) in our 2014 Bee.  It was fun to be a part of a bee again.

I'm missing one though....it's Karen's.  I've racked my instagram feed for the missing block, and I can't figure out how I passed it along without snapping a photo.

So here are my 2014 blocks.  I've added the links to the tutorials if you like any of them!

  1. Can't wait to see the finished quilt design. These blocks are beautiful! I need to keep better track of any sew a longs.

  2. Having a bee within our MQG would be great - saves on stamps and since you see the person every month I'm sure there's less tardiness than on virtual bees. Curious about the name change for your guild.

    1. It definitely saves on postage... and maybe holds you more accountable since you know the person you are sewing for. :) We changed our name because our chapter decided not to join the national/international MQG. It was a part of their requirements that we could no longer use their name if we didn't officially join. Sad to separate - I am still an individual member. Our group is extremely casual though... and we wanted to stay that way.
