Do you have a Loop Turner?  I have done plenty a project without one..... and it creates a lot of frustration, tugging and pulling to turn a loop right side out.  Years ago, Linda shared this little tool as one of her favorites at a guild meeting.  I finally picked one up a few months ago.

I used it over the weekend to make the handles for some grocery bag dispensers.  What a big help this little turner is!  It makes turning little spaghetti straps, bag handle loops, etc. very simple.

After sewing your strap lengthwise right sides together, it's easy to insert the loop turner through the middle of the strap.

Let the hook on the end of the loop turner catch the end of the strap and pull to turn right sides out.  You have to guide it with your fingers a little to get it started.  This is much easier than my other method of using a safety pin to turn out the straps.

Keep pulling until the whole strap is done!

I think it's a great tool for saving myself a headache.  And it only costs a couple bucks.  Even better!  I found mine at Joann's, but you can also get them here. Pin It
