  7. Oh, baby names - they are always tough! I have an 18 month old named Nathan, so I think that is a pretty great boy name, and if he was a girl it would have been Anna or Caroline.

    A lot of the oldfashioned names are becoming popular again. I like Charlotte Rose for a little girl, and Cameron Lucas for a boy.

  15. Hmm... A couple of years ago when I was going through the same thing my top girl name was Ada -- which is now very popular, so I wouldn't pick it. :) Boys are HARD. We finally settled on Sean.

    My top boy name is Nathan. We have two girls (Ashley and Sydney) but we have always choosen Nathan as the boys name. Not sure what we would choose if we were to have a third girl.

  20. For little girls, Kloey, Audrey, Autumn, For boys hmm...James, Christopher, Austin. Some like really odd names, others like what I call "vintage" names. Do hope your are enjoying every day. Nothing more beautiful than expecting a little one, is there?

  21. I like traditional names. My one piece of advice is this...if you use a traditional name, use the traditional spelling. My husband's parents used an unusual spelling and it always get misspelled.

  26. I would totally give you some name ideas, except I had a very hard time coming up with names for my kids (and I have 4 of them!). My youngest was a day old before he had a name, poor kid!   28. My daughter (Vera Noelle) is 10 months old, and I found names SO difficult when we were trying to pick one for her. Our favorite boy's name that we settled on was Dylan. For girls we also considered Aurora (we would have used Rory as a nickname) and I also love some of the names that are really popular right now like Ava, Sofia, and Olivia.     I am in my second tri, we aren't finding out the sex of baby, so have come up with a name for each sex. Amber Shasta, or Isaiah Shelton.

  49. I'm all about "regular" names. Nothing with weird spellings, too hard on the kids while growing up...their personalities should stand out, not the mis-pronouncation of their names.

    Give me a good old Joseph, Daniel, Robert, James.....girls, Deborah, Sara, Mary, Jane....yep, simple is the way to go in my world.

  52. Baby names are one of my favorite topics! For a boy, you are doing well if it doesn't rhyme with "Aiden". My baby names always in in the "ah" sound, so right now my favorites are - "Judah, and Ziva". I think Holden is a great name though too.

  53. Top boy names right now are still stuck in my head from my best friend having a baby in Sept. Lawson & Sawyer were two I really liked from her list. She named her daughter Brielle, which is beautiful. Also love Scarlett, Violet, Macy... oh god, I could go on for a long time, have a thing for names!

  74. For a girl, I love Melissa Grace. Boys are a little harder for me for some reason and I tend to lean towards more Spanish type names which promptly get vetoed by my husband. We are expecting to welcome a baby boy this week and simply have to settle on a name!

  90. Fun giveaway! My only advice for names is to make sure it's not a top 20 name. My daughter has never forgiven me for giving her the most popular name of her age group (Sarah). I keep explaining that we didn't have everything available on the internet back then - but she can't quite grasp a world without instant access.

  163. AnneMarie, For a boy I love the name Marek and for a girl Evie!!!! They are not everyday names and not over the top different either. They go with almost all last names ( which in my case is DIFFICULT).
