Rockin' Robin Quilt Along: Hexagons

The Rockin' Robin Quilt Along is almost complete! It's Monday and time for the LAST block tutorial. It's week 5 of the Rockin' Robin Quilt Along and today we are making some hexagons with Jen at Reannalily Designs.

Here is a look at my row....

If you've never tried hexagons before, this QAL is a great place to start.  You only make 11 hexagons per row (I made 2 rows).  It's a nice small number to learn how to make them and attach them to the quilt.  They add a nice accent without having to commit to 100s!  I am using a Central Park layer cake on a Kona Maize background.

Be sure to check out the other host's colorways:

and of course, get the tutorial HERE at Jen at Reannalily Designs.

Can't wait to see your creations!

  1. You've inspired me to do a GenX quilting glossary - can you think of any others to add? http://quokkaquilts.blogspot.com/p/gen-xyz-quilting-glossary.html
