Ho-Ho-Holiday Swap Ornament Brainstorming

I hope everyone has received those little fun fabric packages in the mail!

(If you haven't, please let me know so I can get out the cattle prod...)

So that means one thing - - ornament brainstorming time!!!

Here's a few things I've found when brainstorming to help get your ideas flowing....

Sent out by one ambitious little Aunt Spicy

On Flickr (sorry I couldn't get the pics here on this post):

Books available at Amazon:

Remember ladies that this swap shouldn't stress you out!  I purposely chose a small and simple project (the ornament) as GXQ's first swap because a) I didn't know who would be interested right before the holidays and b) I know we've all got a million things to do for the holidays.

So!  That being said, I personally don't think you have to make an elaborate mother-of-all-ornaments creation for our swap.  Just something simple and cute to send your partner a little holiday cheer.  Hopefully, you're having fun and making a friend.

Remember:

1.  You only have to use 1 of the 3 FQs you were sent in making the ornament.

2.  Ornaments should be mailed to your partner by December 1, 2010.

3.  When you receive your ornament from your partner, please snap a pic and post it to the Ho-Ho-Holiday Swap flickr group.  It will be so fun to look at everyone's ornaments!

Have fun!  Hope these ideas help!
